Retail Interiors is a creative and commercial discipline which incorporates elements of interior decoration, industrial design, graphic design, and ergonomics. Retail Design is a pure blend of architecture, marketing, strategy, communication, and design of the built environment. This program at NITTE takes an innovative and progressive approach that enables students to understand the basic design issues intrinsic to the evolution and transformation of the retail environment.

The core modules of this course includes the study of art and design history, theory of spatial manipulation, drawing, structures, materials and processes, lighting and technology, typography, human factors, and the theory and basics of retail design, all of which ensures that students fully understand the concerns of the retail industry and its allied fields.
